Registration

Thank you for your interest in Bellevue Overlake Cooperative Preschool. Before applying, we ask that you review the parent community description to better understand how important your role is in the school, and either 1) attend an Open House or 2) request a tour to better understand our program.

For the safety of our students, unscheduled visits are discouraged and walk-in visitors will be asked to return once they have scheduled a tour.

The following describes the registration process:

Step 1: Attend an Open House or
Sample Class

Curious about what we are offering, but not ready to sign up? Come join us for a sample virtual class on Wednesday, February 3 at 10:15 am. Experience a children's class with Maura for 30 minutes followed by time with our Parent Education instructors to ask questions and learn more about our school.
Register today to reserve your spot here.

Request a Tour
You will have a chance to see the classroom and gain a deeper understanding of your parent partnership, and learn about our play-based educational approach directly from our Educators.

Because of COVID-19 we are unable to schedule tours at this time. We will resume tours as soon as it is safe to do so. Normally tours are available on the first Wednesday of each month during school sessions for parents who are not able to attend our open house. Parents are able to see the children and teachers in the classroom setting, meet our primary Teacher, and ask questions of current parents. Email the Registrar to schedule a tour. Please note that to ensure sensitivity to the needs of our enrolled students, tours are by appointment only.

We will be offering virtual open houses as well as sample classes.  Details will be available soon, for questions about those, email the Registrar.

Step 2: Submit your Registration Form and Check

(A) Open positions:
If our Registrar has told you that we currently have space available in the school, we need to have two things from you before you will be placed on our Roster:

(i) your completed Registration Form through Jovial and

(ii) a non-refundable $75 registration fee through Jovial, or in cash or check made out to BOCP.

Once we receive these two items in Jovial, a organizational platform for preschools, we will notify you to confirm receipt and send you additional information to welcome you to our school!

If you would like a physical Registration Form please email our registrar. You may email it to the Registrar, print it and mail it with your check, or print it and arrange to hand it in at the school with your check.

Please remember that your spot is not guaranteed until we have both the Registration Form and the fee in Jovial.

(B) Waitlist positions:
If our Registrar has told you that our Roster is full, you may choose to be placed on the waitlist. We need to have two things in hand from you before you can secure a position on the waitlist:

(i) your completed Registration Form and

(ii) a refundable $75 registration fee in cash or check made out to BOCP.

Once we receive these two items, we will notify you to confirm receipt and tell you your current position on the waitlist. You are welcome to email the Registrar for waitlist position updates.

If there is an opening on the Roster, we will notify you immediately by your preferred method of contact as indicated on your Registration Form. If you do not respond within 48 hours, we will move on to the next family on the waitlist and shred your check.

If you accept the opening, we will cash your check and email you information to welcome you to our school!

The Registration Form is available on this page. You may email it to the Registrar, print it and mail it with your check, or print it and arrange to hand it in at the school with your check.

Please remember that your position on the waitlist is not guaranteed until we have both the Registration Form and the check in hand.

Step 3: Welcome Email and Invitation to Fall Parent Orientation.

You will receive a Welcome Email when your family has become part of the BOCP community. You will then need complete the remaining paperwork for admissions, available on Jovial.

Welcome to the BOCP Family!
